How to Convert Your Index to a Course Handicap

1. Find the slope of the Course You're Playing

2. Divide the slope by 113 and multiply by your index.

3. Find the chart near the pro shop that does this for you.

Example: slope of the course is 125 and your index is 10.2

125/113 * 10.2 = 11.3. Your course handicap is 11.3
